Wildflower Grotto

I was there just past the peak of the wildflower bloom. But near the lake, I found protected niches of freshness. These boulders harbored a thigh-high expanse of fresh wildflowers, including dozens of beautiful pale blue/purple Colorado Columbine with delicate green centers!
